An informative and career-oriented session titled “Emerging Career Opportunities for Young Engineers” was successfully organized on 03rd February 2026 from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the MMM Auditorium, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET).
Objectives of the Session
- To create awareness about emerging and non-traditional career opportunities for young engineers
- To bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements
- To guide students on skill development, certifications, and career planning
- To motivate students towards industry readiness and lifelong learning

Mr. Rythem Kaushal
Strategic Outreach & Admissions Leader, Building Industry-Ready Engineering Talent, MBA (University of Western Australia), Software Engineer.
The resource persons shared valuable insights on industry-aligned skill development, emerging engineering roles, and the importance of continuous learning and adaptability.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 124 engineering students, along with faculty members of FET. The strong attendance reflected the students’ keen interest in understanding future career prospects and current industry trends.
The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Shravan Garg, HoD, Department of Computer Science & Engineering & IT, FET, SVSU, with the support and coordination of faculty members Dr. Tarun Kumar, Dr. Divya Mishra, Er. Simarpreet Kaur, and Mr. Amardeep.
