A Guest Lecture on the topic “From Ideas to Assets: Understanding Intellectual Property Rights” was organized by Subharti College of Allied and Healthcare on 04 February 2026, commencing at 10:00 AM and smoothly anchored by Ms. Simar Nayar. The programme began with an address by Dr. Pankaj Kishor Mishra, Principal, SCAH, who introduced the importance of Intellectual Property Rights, followed by the lighting of the lamp. The guest speaker, Dr. Nisha Rana, Incharge – IPR Cell, Research and Development Cell, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut (U.P.), was felicitated by presenting a plant sapling. Dr. Nisha Rana then delivered an informative lecture covering the concept of IPRs, types of intellectual property, patents, copyrights, and designs in detail. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Umesh Kumar, HOD (MLT), in the presence of the Principal and several faculty members, and the session proved to be highly beneficial and enriching for the participants.
