Seminar on “Steps to Selecting the Right Journal for Successful Publication”
Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a seminar on “Steps to Selecting the Right Journal for Successful Publication” on 27 July 2026 as part of its continuous efforts to strengthen the research culture and promote quality scientific publications among students and faculty members. The seminar aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the journal selection process and encourage ethical research publication practices.
The scientific session was delivered by Dr. Shivaji Chobe, Associate Professor, MASCHNYS, who provided detailed insights into the key considerations involved in selecting an appropriate journal for research publication. He explained the importance of matching the manuscript with the journal’s scope, evaluating indexing status, understanding the peer-review process, assessing journal quality and credibility, adhering to publication ethics, and identifying predatory journals.
