Skill activity organized on Microsoft Excel
A skilling activity for non-teaching staff was organized on 27th June 2023 at Kerala Varma Subharti College of Science, Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Meerut. The skill activity with the theme ‘Microsoft Excel’ began under the direction of Prof. RenuMavi, Officiating Dean, KVSCOS, SVSU. The main objective of organizing this activity was to make the non-teaching staff aware about the various uses and working of Microsoft Excel.
In which laboratory assistants from various departments participated.
The activity was designed in the way so that non-teaching staff can enhance their data management skills whether a beginner or have some experience with excel.
The session provided with the insights and hand-on practice to boost the efficiency of working on excel.
Program coordinator Dr. Devendra Kumar told how Microsoft Excel can be used in the daily needs of the laboratory and stock maintenance. Mr. Ankit Kumar, Resource Person of skill activity explained about data feeding in Microsoftexcel sheet and its features.He also told to develop the spreadsheet and improve the proficiency in using excel.
At the end of the program, the activity coordinator thanked all the teaching and non-teaching staff involved in the activity. All the staff expressed interest in organizing such knowledge enhancing skill activity in future.
