About the University:

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is a multidisciplinary university established under section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission (U.G.C.) Act, 1956. Standing firmly on the foundational pillars of “Shiksha, Seva, Sanskar Evam Rastriayata”, the education imparted in the University is the perfect blend of technology based modern education with values and ethics which is deeply rooted into the ancient Indian Culture and tradition. The University has been accredited with the prestigious “A Grade” with 3.22 CGPA by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) during its 2^nd Cycle.

University has 13 constituent Faculties and offers 150+ Programmes in Medical and Non-Medical disciplines. University pursues its MISSION OF SERVICE and promotes holistic education through integration, collaboration, and a multidisciplinary approach.

About NAAC:

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)  is an autonomous body established by the UGC of India to assess and accredit institutions of higher education in the country. NAAC primarily assess the quality of institutions of higher education that volunteer for the process, through an internationally accepted methodology. NAAC supports academic events for a better understanding of quality enhancement through assessment.

About Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC):

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)  of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU), Meerut functions under the Chairmanship of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor with an aim to develop a dynamic system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall quality performance of the Institution. IQAC organizes several Workshops/Seminars/Orientation/Refresher Programs to promote the quality culture for institutional overall growth and development.

About the Workshop:

Best Practices are one of the key components in academic as well as administrative practices to attain the excellence. The workshop aims to strengthen the knowledge of beneficiaries to bring out the effective best practices through discussion and deliberations.

Objectives of the Workshop:

• Improving Teaching and Learning processes by adopting innovative and engaging pedagogical approaches targeting graduate attributes.
• Curriculum design and development focusing skill for better career opportunities
• Promoting Researchecosystem.
• Integration of technology and governance system for effective planning and implementation of strategies.
• Role of IQAC to ensure the quality sustenance with regular inputs and monitoring

Expected Outcome of the Workshop:

• The participants will be able to understand the Accreditation and Assessment Methodology in revised accreditation framework.
• The participants will be able to know the quality enhancement best practices that are being followed by the HEIs for curriculum development, student-centric teaching-learning methodologies,excellence in research culture promotion, effective governance, and Institutional Values & Distinctiveness.
• The participants will be able to understand the contribution of IQAC to set the benchmarks for the quality improvement of an Institution.
