Subharti University proudly celebrates a historic achievement by Mr. Unnat Singh, a student of the B.P.Ed. Department of Physical Education, who led his team to win the Silver Medal in Ice Hockey at the Khelo India Winter Games 2026, held in Leh–Ladakh from 20 to 27 January.
This remarkable victory marks the first-ever medal for Team Chandigarh in Ice Hockey, creating a milestone in the sport’s history. Mr. Unnat Singh captained the team with exceptional leadership and determination, playing a key role in this outstanding success.
