Successful Ph.D. Thesis Defense by Ms. Devanshi Bareja, Ph.D. Scholar at the Faculty of Management and Commerce

 April 14, 2026 — The Faculty of Management and Commerce (FoMC) at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University proudly announces the successful completion of the Ph.D. thesis defence viva voce examination for Ms. Devanshi Bareja. She was a Ph.D. Scholar registered with Prof. (Dr.) Padma Misra.

Ms. Bareja presented her rigorous empirical research titled “An Empirical Analysis of Retention Policies of Selected Information Technology (IT) Companies in the Context of Employees’ Sustainability.” Her study addresses critical modern challenges in the IT sector, focusing on how organizational policies contribute to long-term workforce stability and employee well-being.

The examination was conducted under the expert supervision of esteemed external examiner Prof. (Dr.) Naval Garg, Head of the Department of Management at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Dwarka, Delhi & Prof. (Dr.) Padma Misra, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Commerce.

The viva voce conducted succesfully. External Examiner was pleased with the rigour with which the candidate had conducted the research. The extensive use of SEM and ANN which are advanced statistical technicques used in Management for validation of model. The analysis of the result was very detailed an the work was successfully defended.
