Swami Vivekanand Research Chair Delegates Visits Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi Under MOU Cultural Exchange

As part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Swami Vivekanand Research Chair, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut and the Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi, a cultural exchange visit was organized on the occasion of Durga Puja celebrations at the Mission premises.

The university delegation was led by Prof. (Dr.) Monika Mehrotra, Professor & Convener of the Swami Vivekanand Research Chair, along with Dr. Ajay Verma, Assistant Professor.

The delegation actively participated in the Durga Puja festivities, experiencing the rich cultural and spiritual traditions upheld by the Mission. They also held meaningful discussions with Mission members on cultural and educational collaboration.

As a gesture of respect and to strengthen institutional ties, Sarvalokanand Maharaj Ji, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi, was felicitated with a Subharti Angvastra and a Chair Memento by the Subharti University representatives.

The visit reaffirmed the commitment of both institutions to uphold the teachings of Swami Vivekananda through cultural exchange, education, and research. It also laid the foundation for future collaborations while highlighting the shared vision of integrating spiritual values with academic initiatives.

This cultural exchange marked a significant step toward deepening the relationship between the two institutions and promoting the legacy of Swami Vivekananda for the benefit of society.
