Dr. Vidhi Khandelwal Conducts Training on ‘Use of Artificial Intelligence in Basic Education’
Dr. Vidhi Khandelwal, Head of the Department of Animation, Faculty of Fine Arts, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, delivered an insightful lecture on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing basic education.
The session was a part of a five-day teacher training program organized by the District Education and Training Institute (DIET), Meerut, under the directives of the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Lucknow. The training, held from July 9 to 14, 2025, Dr. Khandelwal’s lecture emphasized empowering teachers and enriching learning by demonstrating how AI can simplify lesson planning, improve student engagement, and personalize education for diverse learners. She highlighted practical tools and applications that educators can integrate into their classrooms to make teaching more effective and interactive.
The initiative aimed to prepare block-level master trainers who can further disseminate these skills and techniques to teachers across the region, ensuring the adoption of technology-driven, student-centric learning practices.
The program was coordinated under the supervision of Manoj Kumar Arya, Deputy Director of Education/Principal, DIET Meerut, who extended appreciation to Dr. Khandelwal for her contribution to advancing digital and AI-driven education in Uttar Pradesh.
