The Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, successfully organised an outreach visit to Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar School on 29 April 2026. The initiative aimed at spreading awareness about health, nutrition, hygiene, and responsible living among school children, while aligning with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
During the visit, faculty members and students distributed fruits and hygiene materials to the children. This activity was aimed to promote healthy eating habits and encourage the adoption of personal hygiene practices from an early age.
