Visit to the India International Trade Fair
Department of Fashion and Textile Design, NBSCFF, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut had organised educational visit to International Trade Fair 2024.
On 26th November 2024, a group of 49 enthusiastic students, accompanied by faculty members Dr. Arpana Kamboj and Dr. Ashish Mishra, from NBSCFF, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, visited the India International Trade Fair (IITF) in New Delhi. The visit provided an exceptional opportunity for students to explore a wide range of innovative products, technologies, and industries from across the globe.
The India International Trade Fair is one of the most significant trade fairs in the country, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and promoting industries that are at the forefront of progress. This year, the fair featured a diverse range of exhibits, including advancements in fashion technology, khadi promotion activities, food innovation, agricultural technology etc.
During the visit, students had the chance to explore and engage with various exhibits that demonstrated the latest trends and developments in these fields. The fashion technology segment captivated the students with its display of futuristic clothing materials, smart textiles, and sustainable fashion solutions. Many students were particularly drawn to the innovative solutions aimed at promoting khadi and traditional Indian textiles, which underscored the importance of preserving heritage while embracing modernity.
The visit was not only educational but also provided students with a deeper understanding of the connection between innovation, industry, and real-world applications. Dr. Arpana Kamboj and Dr. Ashish guided the students throughout the visit, encouraging them to engage with the exhibits, ask questions, and participate in discussions, which enhanced the overall learning experience.
The students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity, calling it a valuable exposure that broadened their perspectives and helped them connect academic knowledge with practical advancements in various fields.
