Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Subharti Institute of Technology and Engineering, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized a Webinar on the topic of “Cyber Security in Online Education” to enhance the knowledge of students and faculties about threats and vulnerabilities in online education. Total 847 faculty members and students from different colleges and universities participated in this webinar using Webex app. This purpose of webinar was to make aware of various cyber threats and possible precautions to be taken in this period of COVID-19 pandemic where online education is the need of an hour. Speaker of the webinar ,Dr. Umesh C. Varma, a veteran of 30 years of teaching/training experience at undergraduate/ graduate level in information systems & security etc interacted with the students and organized a wonderful session on cyber security and engaged the students with a live poll as well.The event was organized under the supervision of Dr. Shravan Garg and Dr. Sanjive Tyagi.Dr. Manoj Kapil, Principal, SITE, SVSU gave the vote of thanks and praised the efforts of event organizing team.
