In its continuous pursuit of academic excellence and robust implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), the Faculty of Management & Commerce (FoMC) at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized a highly technical and impactful workshop on “CO-PO Mapping & Attainment Calculation” today.
The workshop was designed to strengthen institutional pedagogical frameworks and was attended by faculty members from the Acharya Vishnu Gupt Subharti College of Management & Commerce (AVGSCMC) and the Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management.

The session commenced with an introductory address by Dr. Gaurab Kumar Sharma (Associate Professor, AVGSCMC), who formally welcomed the gathering and introduced the esteemed expert speaker for the day.
The university’s Controller of Examinations, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Yadava, served as the expert resource person. Known for his deep expertise in academic evaluation systems, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Yadava delivered a comprehensive, step-by-step masterclass on aligning curriculum design with measurable educational outcomes.
During his intensive technical sessions, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Yadava meticulously covered:
- Core OBE Frameworks: Establishing and distinguishing between Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and Program Educational Objectives (PEOs).
- Course Outcomes (COs): Crafting precise, measurable learning outcomes for individual courses.
- Matrix Correlation: Navigating the intricate process of CO-PO Mapping to ensure structural curriculum alignment.
- Internal Attainment Calculation: Quantifying student performance based on internal institutional parameters.
- Assignment Attainment Calculation: Formulating specific matrices to calculate learning outcomes through continuous evaluation assignments.
- Comprehensive Attainment: Combining variables to finalize the ultimate PO-CO Attainment data.

The technical sessions were followed by an engaging interactive forum where faculty members actively raised practical doubts, discussed complex calculation scenarios, and clarified parameters regarding target settings and attainment gaps.
