Workshop on “Employability Skills and Language Development”
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU), Meerut, organized a workshop on “Employability Skills and Language Development” on 18 August 2026 at Lecture Hall-111, FET.
The session was conducted by Dr. Gurpyari Bhatnagar, Associate Professor of English, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Sharda University, Greater Noida. She guided students on career planning, communication skills, interview preparation, professional etiquette, personality development, and industry readiness. She also emphasized the importance of continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Tarun Kumar, Associate Professor, and Dr. Ashima, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, under the guidance of Dr. Shravan Garg, HoD, CSE & IT, FET, SVSU.
A total of 50 B.Tech. students participated in the workshop and gained valuable insights into career development, employability skills, and professional preparedness.
Outcome
The workshop enhanced students confidence, communication abilities, interview readiness, and awareness of current industry requirements, preparing them for future career opportunities.
