Workshop on Korean Language
Maharshi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a Workshop on Korean language in collaboration with the Department of Languages, Faculty of Art and Social Science on 19th February 2025. The Resource person were Dr. Zena Chung and Mr. Rahul Kumar.
The first speaker talked about the importance of learning the Korean language in India while addressing the students of naturopathy and yoga at Subharti University. He discussed how this language can be helpful for these students to build their careers, if they can learn this language, they can get the opportunity to work or provide their services in India and Korea as well.
The Second Speaker Dr. Zena Chung discussed how the Korean language is beneficial for students pursuing careers in fields such as naturopathy and yoga. She highlighted that Korea is facing challenges related to an aging population and a low birth rate.
The third speaker discussed the Indian government’s initiatives toward Korea, highlighting the strong India-Korea relationship. All the students of naturopathy Got benefited from this workshop. This workshop was coordinated by Dr. Abhijit K.B, Assistant Professor, Dr. Abhay Kumar, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Sneha Bharti Lecture, Faculty member Maharshi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences and Dr. Rafat Khanam, Associate Professor of English & in charge of English and Foreign Languages, Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
