Workshop on
“Specific Skills of Combat Sports”
A one-day workshop on “Specific Skills of Combat Sports” was organized on 7th September 2024 under the aegis of the Department of Physical Education at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. The objective of this program was to focus on the technical and strategic skills required in various combat sports. Before inaugurating the workshop, the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker Professor Dr. Rajeev Chaudhary was welcomed by Dr. Manju Adhikari, Executive Head, Department of Physical Education, by presenting a plant. In the workshop, the expert of combat sports provided in-depth information to the participants on various aspects of combat sports, in which he made them aware about technical skills, strategy planning, and psychological aspects. In this workshop, the students of the Department of Physical Education learned various skills of combat sports. Dr. Manju Adhikari said that such workshops play an important role in enhancing the skills of students and players. We hope that through this office the students will benefit and they will be able to touch new heights in their sports. On this occasion, Dr. Manju Adhikari, Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Deepak Raghav, Dr. Atul Tiwari, Dr. Salim Javed, Dr. Ankit Singh Jadoun, Mr. Kapil Shakya, etc. were present from the Department of Physical Education.
