Special Interaction Session on
“Emerging Trends in Research”
A special interaction session on Emerging Trends in Research was organized at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University under the joint aegis of University Faculty Development Cell and Faculty of Education. Faculty members and researchers from various departments of the university participated in this session. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Rajiv Chaudhary, Department of Physical Education, Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh was present as the chief guest and keynote speaker. Before starting the special session, the chief guest and keynote speaker Professor Dr. Rajiv Chaudhary was welcomed by Dr. R.K. Ghai, Dean, Faculty of Management and Commerce and Chairman, University Faculty Development Cell and Dr. Anoj Raj, Acting Dean, Faculty of Education, Acting Head of Department Dr. Manju Adhikari, Department of Physical Education by presenting a Sepling. This session was inaugurated by the chief guest by lighting a lamp with the worship of Mother Saraswati. The program was started by Dr. Mohammad Salim Javed, anchor of the programme The objective of this session was to discuss the guidelines of modern research, new technology and emerging challenges. During this session, Dr. Rajiv Chaudhary expressed his views and shed light on the possible changes and new ideas in the field of research in the coming times. The important points in the program session included experimental research and practical use of SPSS tools, interdisciplinary research, and data science. The keynote speaker explained how new possibilities can be explored in these areas and how they can impact research. The session concluded with a question-answer session in which the participants asked their questions to the keynote speaker and openly discussed various issues. Such sessions not only provide new information to researchers but also provide an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge. To make this session successful, full support and encouragement was also received from the Chief Executive Officer of the University, Dr. Shalya Raj and the Vice Chancellor of the University, Major General Dr. G.K. Thapliyal. During the session, Dr. R.K. Ghai, Chairman of the University Faculty Development Cell, Dean of Faculty of Management and Commerce, as well as other members of the University Faculty Development Cell were also present. In this session, teachers from all departments of the university such as Medical, Nursing, Science, Management, Faculty of Education, Pharmacy, Engineering College etc. participated enthusiastically. At the end of the program, the program coordinator Dr. Manju Adhikari thanked the teachers from all departments of the university, the deans of the faculties, the media in-charge and all the non-teaching staff on behalf of the University Faculty Development Cell and promised to organize such programs at a higher level in the future.
