Workshop on
“Transform Your Life with Soft Skills Training”
A one-day workshop on “Transform Your Life with Soft Skills Training” was successfully organized under the University Career Counselling Cell. The workshop aimed at enhancing students’ public speaking skills, career decision-making, and entrepreneurial knowledge through soft skills training. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education, extended his best wishes to the participants. Prof. (Dr.) Anoj Raj, Head, Department of Education, emphasized the significance of the workshop and encouraged students to participate in similar activities for skill enhancement.
Key Points Covered: The session focused on the importance of soft skills in professional and personal growth. Dr. Preeti Keynote speaker focused on Confidence-building, Time Management, Self-Motivation, Adaptability, Teamwork, Personality Development, Career Goal Clarity and Planning. The workshop witnessed active participation from faculty members and students.
Interactive Session & Student Queries: The workshop also included an interactive Q & A session, where students raised their career-related queries. Ms.Shruti Kaushik, Ms.Gungun Kumari, Ms. Etisha Sharma, Ms. Fiza, and Ms. Ketkee asked questions about career opportunities and future prospects. Other students submitted their queries in written mode.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Preeti Singhwal, addressed all queries effectively, providing valuable insights and guidance. Participants enjoyed the session and all participants felt confident to select their opportunities in teaching career paths. The session provided students insight about their soft skills and their own capability. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Roopam Jain, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, SVSU, Meerut. All participants were satisfied.
