“WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK”
World widely every first week of August i.e. 1st August to 7th August celebrated as “World Breastfeeding Week”. On 1st August 2023, Faculty of AYUSH, Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Yogic Sciences, Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Merrutcelebrated “World Breastfeeding Week” with the theme of“Enabling breastfeeding: making a difference for working parents”from 11:00am to 12:00pmat LT-2, MASCHNYS for all the UG and PG girl students by resource person Dr. Ksh. Guneri Devi.
Resource person explain about benefits of breastfeeding for both the mother and baby,the health benefits of breastmilk, nutrients getting from breastmilk, prevention of health illness or diseases by breastmilk, helps boosting immune system by breastmilk, when to breastfeed to the baby according to month wise, how many times should feed to the baby. 124 students were participated and benefited from this celebration.
