Report on Yoga Session for Faculty Members of Law College
Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), under Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, conducted a Yoga Session for the Faculty Members of Law College on 12th June 2026 from 08:30 AM to 09:30 AM at the Law College, SVSU, Meerut.
The session was organized with the objective of promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, stress management, and healthy lifestyle practices among faculty members through yoga-based interventions. The programme was designed to help participants understand the importance of incorporating yoga into their daily routine for maintaining overall health and enhancing workplace productivity.
The resource person for the session was Dr. Shivaji Chobe, Associate Professor, MASCHNYS, who conducted the yoga session and guided participants through various yogic practices beneficial for physical and mental wellness.
The session commenced with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of yoga in maintaining health, reducing stress, and improving professional efficiency. Faculty members were guided through a series of simple and effective yogic practices, including loosening exercises, stretching techniques, breathing practices (pranayama), and relaxation methods suitable for everyday life.
Special emphasis was placed on improving posture, enhancing flexibility, reducing occupational stress, increasing concentration, and managing musculoskeletal discomfort associated with prolonged sitting and academic responsibilities. Participants actively engaged in the session and showed keen interest in learning practical techniques that could be incorporated into their daily routine.
The programme concluded with guided relaxation and awareness practices aimed at promoting mental calmness, emotional balance, and overall well-being. An interactive discussion was also held where participants shared their experiences and clarified their queries regarding yoga, stress management, and healthy lifestyle practices.

The programme witnessed active participation from the faculty members of the Law College, who enthusiastically performed the yogic practices and appreciated the usefulness of the session. A total of 22 faculty members from the Law College actively participated in the session.
