  10th Sardar Patel Subharti Moot Court Competition 2024 

The Moot Court Association of 2023-2024 organized the 10th Sardar Patel Subharti Moot Court Competition. It  was held on 10th & 12th February, 2024.This time there were two students constituting as a team.  On 10th February, 2024

  • Inauguration ceremony followed by Preliminary Rounds that was divided into two sessions 
  • The stage management was done by Ms. Afreen Almas, Faculty Convenor (MCA) 

The Judges for the Preliminary Rounds were

  1. Mr. Ushab Jain  
  2. Ms. Shrishti Bhardwaj  
  3. Ms. Shivani Aggarwal  
  4. Ms. Bhawni Kaushalya  
  5. Mr. Rishab  
  6. MS. Gulista Fatima
  • In the preliminary Round, 12 teams presented their arguments from the appellant side and 13 presented from  respondents. For the Semi Finals, only 4 teams out of 25 as per the rules.

The Judges for the Semi-Final Round were

  1. Ms. Ana Sisodia (Asst. Professor) & Mr. Arshad Alam (Asst. Professor)  
  2. Mr. Ajay Raj Singh (Asst. Professor) & Ms. Sonal Jain (Asst. Professor)
  • In the Semi Final Round, 4 teams presented their arguments from the appellant side and 2 presented from  respondents. For the Final Round, 2 teams qualified.

 On 12th February2024

The Judges for the Final Round were

  1. Justice Rajesh Chandra, Former Judge, High Court of Judicature at Prayagraj  
  2. Justice Girish Mohan Mittal, Former Judge

The Winner of the Competition are

  1. Best Team:- Manika Vats and Ayushi Yadav  
  2. Runner-Up Team: Shikha Upadhaya and Manisha Kumari 
  3. Best Mooter:- Manika Vats
  • A team of 10 volunteers worked as Court Masters and helped throughout the  Competition.
  • Court-Masters/Volunteers-, Paramjeet Singh Hudda, Akshdeep Kaur, Ishika Chauhan, Aarti Goyal, Pawni Arora, Srishti Sirohi, Vikhyat, Anshika, Ritika, Om Thakur.
  • After the final rounds, the Valedictory Ceremony took place, where all the participants got certificates and  trophies as an Appreciation Award. After the Valedictory Ceremony, judges of the event guided how  mooters can work better on their presentation. They shared some landmark cases that we re-involved in  the Moot Problem.
  • After this, Mrs. Afreen Almas (Faculty Convenor of MCA) came for the vote of thanks thanks to all  the participants, volunteers, respected judges and all faculty members for their support.  At the time of Final Round and Valedictory Ceremony–09 Faculties viewed the Competition and  students from all five year marked their presence for the same.
