It is a well-known fact that Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are delivered through the SWAYAM platform by the Government of India. These all courses are available free of cost to the learners, however, learners wanting a SWAYAM certificate should register for the final exams with the prescribed fee and attend in-person at designated centers on specified dates. Universities/colleges approving credit transfer for these courses can use the marks/certificate obtained in these courses for the same and it is also a focal point idea of NEP-2020 by providing the opportunities to choose courses according to their own interests. Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut also provides a credit transfer facility for the students who are earning their certificate from SWAYAM portal and regularly promotes the faculty members and students to enroll themselves for different courses. The present webinar will be focusing on the Relevance of the SWAYAM Portal and the Developmental Process of the MOOCs.
