13th Sardar Patel Subharti Moot Court Competition-2024

The Moot Court Association of 2024-2025 organized the 13th Sardar Patel Subharti Moot Court  Competition. It was held on 04th & 06th March, 2025.This time there were two students constituting as team.  Total 19 teams registered.  

On 4th March, 2025 

Inauguration ceremony including draw of lots followed by Preliminary Rounds that was divided into two  sessions  

The stage management was done by Isha Tyagi, Student Convenor (MCA)  

The Judges for the Preliminary Rounds were 

  1. Mr. Arshad Alam  
  2. Ms. Sonal Jain  
  3. Ms. Harshit Sangwan  
  4. Mr. Ashutosh Deshwal  
  5. Ms. Shivani  

In the preliminary Round, 9 teams presented their arguments from the appellant side and 9 presented from  respondents. For the Semi Finals, only 4 teams shortlisted out of 19 as per the rules. 

 On 06th March 2025 

The Judges for the Semi-Final Round were 

  1. Ms. Ana Sisodia (Asst. Professor) & Dr. Ajay Raj Singh(Asst. Professor)  
  2. Dr. Sarika Tyagi (Asst. Professor) & Ms. Shalini Goyal (Lecturer)  

 

In the Semi Final Round, 2 teams presented their arguments from the appellant side and 2 presented from  respondents. For the Final Round, 2 teams qualified.  

The Judges for the Final Round were 

  1. Dr. Prem Chandra, Associate Professor, Subharti Institute of Law  
  2. Justice Rajesh Chandra, Director, Subharti Institute of Law  

 

The Winner of the Competition are 

  1. Best Team: – Ankita Singh and Anushrestha Pratap Singh  
  2. Runner-Up Team: Suchita Tripathi and Priya Chaudhary  
  3. Best Mooter: – Ankita Singh  

A team of 10 volunteers worked as Court Masters and helped throughout the Competition.  Court-Masters/Volunteers-, Isha Tyagi, Anshika Singh , Ritika Gupta, Om Thakur, Vivek Sharma, Nilesh  Mishra, Yashika Taliyan, Tushar Chaudhary, Yuvraj Singh, Smriti Anand  

After the final rounds, the Valedictory Ceremony took place, where the finalists got certificates from the  Honourable Director, Faculty of Law and Dr. Prem Chandra, Associate Professor as an appreciation.  Result was announced by Isha Tyagi, Student Convenor, MCA. 

After this, Om Thakur (Student Secretary, MCA) came for the vote of thanks & thanked all the  participants, volunteers, respected judges and all faculty members for their support.  

The certificates for all the participants were distributed on 06th March 2025.
