SEVEN DAYS NATIONAL WORKSHOP ON RESEARCH
METHODOLOGY AND STATISTICAL APPLICATION(RMSA-2025)
A Seven Days National Workshop on ‘Research Methodology and Statistical Application(RMSA-2025)’ was organized by Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut in collaboration with Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI) that continued from 07th May 2025 to 13th May 2025through Hybrid Mode.
The first day of the National Workshop on 7th May 2025 being the inauguration session witnessed the coming together of some great personalities of Education field at national level.
Prof. (Dr.) Kalpana Sharma, Dean, School of Education & Director, Amity school of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Amity University, Noida, U.P. remained the keynote speaker in the inauguration session. This session was attended by Prof. (Dr.) Shalya Raj, Chief Executive Officer, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut; Prof. Amar Prakash Garg, Dean Academics & Director- Research, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut; Deans from various faculties of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut; faculty members; research scholars, and students. The session was moderated by Prof. Indira Singh, Department of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut & Mr. Shubham Rathi, Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. The session ended with vote of thanks proposed by Prof. (Dr.) Anoj Raj, Head, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
The second day of the workshop on 08th May 2025 began with the welcome address by Lieutenant Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.Dr. HemendraKumar Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Education, University of Lucknow (U.P.) &Prof. (Dr.) Praveen Tiwari, Department of Education, University of Delhi, Delhi remained the Resource Person of first and second sessions of the second day, respectively. The sessions were moderated by Mr. Shubham Rathi, Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. The day ended with vote of thanks proposed by Prof. (Dr.) Anoj Raj, Head, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
Dr. Mohd. Arsad Bari, Associate Professor, Department of Physical Education, AMU, Aligarh (U.P.) &Dr. Syed Khurram Nisar, Associate Professor, Department of Physical Education, AMU, Aligarh (U.P.) remained the resource persons of the workshop on the third day, i.e., 09th May 2025.
Prof. (Dr.) Arvind Malik, Department of Physical Education, Kurukshetra University (HR) &Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Head, Department of Physical Education, Central University of Punjab, Bhatinda (PB) remained the resource persons in the Fourth day of the workshop on 10th May 2025.
Prof. Rajeev Choudhary, Professor in Physical Education, Dean of Students’ Welfare, Head-School of Studies in Law, &Public Relation Officer at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, (C.G.), India remained the resource person in the workshops on 5th& 6th day of the workshop, i.e., 11th May 2025 & 12th May 2025.
The last session on 13th May 2025 witnessed the presentation on “Authorship in Research” by Prof. Amar Prakash Garg, Dean Academics & Director- Research, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
The closing ceremony began at 11: 30 AM on 13th May 2025 with lightning of lamp by the guests and higher authorities of the Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut and presentation of sampling and patka to the Guest of Honour- Prof. (Dr.) Shiv Pal Singh, Dean, Faculty of Education, Mahaveer University, Meerut and Patron- Maj. Gen. (Dr.) G.K.Thapliyal, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. Welcome address and report of the seven days national workshop was presented by Lieutenant Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. This was followed by an address by the guest of honor- Prof. (Dr.) Shiv Pal Singh and Chief guest- Prof. (Dr.) Indu Bora, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, LNIPE, Gwalior, M.P. The Chief Guest – Prof. (Dr.) Indu Bora remained present virtually through the online mode. Presidential address was presented by Maj. Gen. (Dr.) G.K.Thapliyal, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. Memento was presented to the Guest of Honor.
The moderation of closing ceremony was executed by Prof. (Dr.) Manju Adhikari, Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
The closing ceremony ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Associate Professor, Department of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
Maj. Gen. (Dr.) G.K.Thapliyal, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut&Prof. (Dr.) Shalya Raj, Chief Executive Officer, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut remained the Patrons of this seven day national workshop. Lieutenant Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut&Prof. (Dr.) Anoj Raj, Head, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut remained the organizers with Dr. Praveen Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut & Dr. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Associate Professor, Department of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut being the Conveners of this event.
