Successful Organization of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Program by the Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut

The Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ initiative. The event was held in accordance with the instructions issued by the Chief Secretary, Culture Section, Government of Uttar Pradesh (Letter No. 276/2025/GI-24/Four-2025 dated August 01, 2025) and the Office of the District Backward Classes Welfare Officer, Meerut (Letter No. 372/P.V.V./2025-26).
This program, organized on 14 August 2025 as part of the nationwide campaign from 13 to 15 August 2025, marked the 79th anniversary of India’s Independence. Its primary objective was to inspire patriotism among citizens, students, teachers, and staff, and to foster respect for the symbols of independence.
Students from B.El.Ed., B.Ed., M.Ed., and Ph.D. programs, along with all faculty members and non-teaching staff, participated enthusiastically. The Dean of the Faculty of Education, Lt. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, and the Head of the Department of Education, Prof. (Dr.) Indira Singh, congratulated all participants for making the program a success. They emphasized that, “It is the greatest pride for an Indian citizen to uphold respect and dedication towards our national flag. Patriotism and nationalism should remain among the highest values in our lives.”
Prof. (Dr.) Anoj Raj, Department of Education, also extended his congratulations to all participants, noting that such initiatives strengthen unity and national pride.
The program was coordinated and conducted by Dr. Reeba Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Education. All participants expressed their devotion to the nation by taking selfies with the tricolor, sending out a strong message of unity, respect, and patriotism.
