Commemoration of Punyatithi of Bal Krishan Hari Chapekar
On the occasion of the Punyatithi of Bal Krishan Hari Chapekar, Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy organized a commemorative programme to pay tribute to the great freedom fighter and to remember his invaluable contribution to India’s struggle for independence.
The programme aimed to honour the courage, patriotism, and sacrifice of Bal Krishan Hari Chapekar by highlighting his life, revolutionary spirit, and dedication towards the freedom movement. The event began with an informative lecture delivered by Mr. Kuldeep, Secretary, Sanskriti Vibhag, SVSU, who shed light on the historical significance of Chapekar’s role in inspiring nationalist movements and awakening revolutionary consciousness among Indians during the colonial period.
To further enrich the understanding of participants, a documentary movie based on the life and struggles of Bal Krishan Hari Chapekar was screened. The film provided deep insight into his bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the nation.
The programme was attended by faculty members, non-teaching staff of Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy, and participants from various departments of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. The event served as a meaningful platform to remember national heroes and instill values of patriotism, dedication, and social responsibility among the academic community.
The commemoration concluded with a collective reflection on the importance of preserving the legacy of freedom fighters and inspiring future generations through their ideals and sacrifices.The event was successfully organised under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Amit Kumar Goel, Off Principal JPSCP.
