Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College successfully organized an Alumni Speak Session, followed by a Podcast Recording and an Interactive Session with nursing students on 29 May 2026 under the guidance of Dr. Geeta Parwanda Principal Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College. The session was conducted to motivate students and provide them with practical knowledge about nursing careers and opportunities in India and abroad.

The guest speaker for the event was Ms. Anjali Bhardwaj, an alumna of Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University and currently working as a Theatre Practitioner (Orthopaedics Scrub Nurse) at Dorset County Hospital, United Kingdom. The programme began with a podcast recording, during which Ms. Bhardwaj shared her inspiring journey from being a nursing student at Subharti University to becoming a successful nursing professional in the United Kingdom. She explained how her education and clinical training helped her build a strong professional foundation. She also shared her experience of working for four years at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi, before moving to the UK, where she has been serving for the past two and a half years.

During the discussion, she spoke about the challenges and opportunities in the nursing profession, the skills required to work in international healthcare settings, and the importance of continuous learning and professional development. Her experiences provided valuable guidance and motivation to the students.

Following the podcast session, Ms. Anjali Bhardwaj met the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar Sharma. During the interaction, the Vice Chancellor enquired about her professional experiences abroad and appreciated her achievements. He encouraged her to interact with the nursing students and guide them regarding career opportunities and future goals. As a token of appreciation and affection, he presented her with a Patka and a sapling. Then after coming back to the college Ms. Anjali Bhardwaj also paid floral tribute at the statue of Panna Dhai Maa and planted a tree in the college campus as a remembrance of her visit.

At 2:00 pm, an interactive session was conducted with the nursing students. The students enthusiastically asked questions related to career planning, higher education, overseas employment opportunities, and skill development. Ms. Bhardwaj answered their queries and encouraged them to remain dedicated to their studies, develop strong clinical competencies, and work towards achieving their professional goals.

The session was highly informative, inspiring, and beneficial for the students. It strengthened the bond between the institution and its alumni while providing valuable guidance to future nursing professionals. Faculty members and nursing students attended the programme and expressed their sincere gratitude to Ms. Anjali Bhardwaj for sharing her experiences and motivating the next generation of nurses.
