Website Update: Faculty of Management & Commerce Organizes Insightful Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Research Policy
Meerut, July 9, 2026 — In its continuous endeavor to foster high-impact research and cultivate a strong culture of innovation, the AVGSCMC, Faculty of Management & Commerce (FoMC) at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized an insightful workshop on “Research Policy and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).”
The academic event aimed to provide faculty members & scholars, with a robust understanding of the legal, ethical, and structural dimensions governing modern research and institutional asset protection.
The program commenced with an introductory address by Dr. Dolly Vaish (Associate Professor, Faculty of Management & Commerce), who formally welcomed the dignitaries, participating faculty members, and research scholars.
In her welcome address, Dr. Vaish emphasized that in today’s knowledge-driven global economy, a profound comprehension of intellectual property rights and institutional research policies is an absolute necessity for every educator and researcher. Introducing the keynote speaker, Dr. Nisha Rana (Assistant Professor & Research Officer, R&D Cell, SVSU), Dr. Vaishya lauded her extensive academic expertise, outstanding contributions to the domain of innovation, and specialized command over patent frameworks, expressing absolute confidence that her guidance would prove immensely beneficial to all attendees.
