Nasya Ayurved Treatment
Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a “Workshop on Nasya Ayurvedic Treatment” on 25th August 2026, from 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM at the Yoga Hall, IPD.
The workshop was organized with the objective of enhancing the theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of Nasya Karma, an important therapeutic procedure in Ayurveda. The session focused on the significance of Nasya in Ayurvedic healthcare, its indications, contraindications, therapeutic benefits, procedure, precautions, and appropriate methods of administration.
The resource person for the activity was Dr. Alok Sharma, Ayurveda Physician, MASCHNYS, who provided valuable insights into the Ayurvedic principles and practical aspects of Nasya treatment. The session was coordinated by Dr. Seema Dixit, Associate Professor, MASCHNYS.
Faculties, postgraduate students, and interns participated in the workshop. Total number of participants were 34. The participants were encouraged to understand the appropriate selection of Nasya procedures and the importance of following proper precautions and therapeutic protocols while performing the treatment.
The workshop provided an opportunity for participants to gain practical exposure and strengthen their understanding of traditional Ayurvedic therapeutic practices. The interactive nature of the session enabled participants to clarify their doubts and develop a better appreciation of the role of Nasya in promoting health and managing suitable health conditions.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks to the resource person, coordinators, faculty members, postgraduate students, and interns for their active participation and cooperation. Overall, the workshop was informative and beneficial in promoting awareness and practical knowledge of Nasya Ayurvedic Treatment among the participants.
