Educational Visit to Devki Nandan Milk Dairy

Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College organized an educational visit to Devki Nandan Milk Dairy on 01 September 2026 for the students of B.Sc. Nursing 5th Semester, B.Sc. Nursing 1st Semester, and ANM 1st Year. A total of 96 students, including 59 students from B.Sc. Nursing 5th Semester, 19 students from B.Sc. Nursing 1st Semester, and 18 students from ANM 1st Year, participated in the visit. The students were accompanied by Mrs. Priya Gupta and Mrs. Himani Singh. The visit was organized to provide students with practical exposure to the processes involved in milk collection, processing, quality control, pasteurization, packaging, and storage. During the visit, students observed various stages of milk handling and processing and learned about the importance of hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and quality control in maintaining the quality and safety of milk and milk products. The students also gained an understanding of the hygienic practices followed in the dairy plant and the importance of proper storage and packaging in preventing contamination. The visit provided an opportunity for the students to relate their theoretical knowledge with practical applications and enhanced their understanding of food hygiene, nutrition, public health, and disease prevention. Overall, the educational visit was informative and enriching, providing the students with valuable practical knowledge and greater awareness of hygienic food processing practices and their significance in promoting community health. The visit was successfully done under the guidance of Dr. Geeta Parwanda Ma’am, Principal, Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College.
