The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication organized an educational Industrial Visit to Live Times, Noida, with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to the functioning of a professional media organization. The visit enabled students to understand the actual working environment of a television news channel and connect their classroom learning with real-world media practices.

During the visit, students were taken through the newsroom and various operational areas of the channel. They interacted with media professionals and observed how news content is planned, processed, edited, and presented to the audience. Students showed keen interest in understanding the functioning of a newsroom and actively asked questions related to news gathering, reporting, editing, anchoring, production, and the overall workflow of a television channel. The interaction helped students gain a clearer understanding of the professional responsibilities and challenges involved in broadcast journalism.

An important highlight of the visit was the opportunity for students to participate in the popular “Kavivar” show at Live Times. The students witnessed the production of the programme and experienced the professional atmosphere of a live media show.
