Exploring the Future with Generative AI

One-Day Seminar on “Generative AI” at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University

The Department of Computer Application, Keral Verma Subharti College of Science, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized a One-Day Seminar on “Generative AI” on 06 October 2026, in association with Geekonik Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

The seminar was organized with the objective of providing students with an opportunity to understand the rapidly evolving field of Generative Artificial Intelligence, explore its practical applications, and develop awareness of the emerging technological skills required in academia, research, software development, and industry.

The seminar introduced students to the fundamentals and emerging applications of Generative AI, with discussions and demonstrations covering:

The expert speakers Mr. Ashu Khera and Mr. Uttam provided students with valuable insights into the rapidly changing AI ecosystem. The sessions went beyond theoretical concepts and included live demonstrations and practical examples of various AI tools, helping students understand how Generative AI can be integrated into their academic, research, creative, and professional activities.

The interactive sessions enabled students to understand how AI can assist in idea generation, content creation, programming, research, problem-solving, productivity enhancement, and innovation.

Ceremonial Inauguration

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati, marking the auspicious beginning of the seminar.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Ravindra Kumar Jain, Dean, Keral Verma Subharti College of Science, Dr. Shashiraj Teotia, Head, Department of Computer Application, and the expert speakers.

Focus on Future-Ready Skills

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shashiraj Teotia, Head, Department of Computer Application, emphasized that Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI are rapidly transforming education, research, software development, business, and industry.

He highlighted the importance of providing students with practical exposure to emerging technologies so that they can develop future-ready technical and professional competencies. Such initiatives help bridge the gap between academic learning and the rapidly changing requirements of the technology industry.
