‘AKIYAM’ Sports Event 2025
The Annual Sports Fest 2025, titled “AIKYAM,” was conducted by the Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences under Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. This event took place from April 5th to April 8th , 2025, at 3 different venues Dr.Kotnis Boys Hostel, Gyani Pritam Singh Playground and General Mohan Singh Playground.
The Sports event was inaugurated by The Honorable Vice Chancellor, Major General (Dr.) G.K. Thapliyal served as the chief guest for the occasion. He encouraged the students to pursue excellence in both academics and athletics.
Dr. Abhay M. Shankaregowda and honourable vice chancellor sir played a match of badminton to encourage the students and started the event. He extended a warm welcome to the Sports officials , faculty, and students, and he congratulated the students for their organization and active participation in the event.
All three days was packed with a series of thrilling competitions including track events, throw events, volleyball, khokho, Tug of war and indoor games such as Chess, Carrom , Badminton, table tennis. Sports officials were from the college of physical education to conduct each event with proper rules and regulations. Overall coordination of the sports event was coordinated by Dr. Abhijith.K.B, the Sports coordinator. More than 300 students actively participated in the various events with cherished memories and renewed sense of motivation.
