Alumni Award Ceremony Programme – 2024
Today, on 1st April 2024, Alumni Award Ceremony was organized at Swami Vivekananda Subharti University in association with University Career Counselling Cell at Maangalya Convention Centre. Shree N. Raghuraman a Seasoned Journalist & Management Guru was the Chief Guest of the function. He has worked as an editor in national dailies like ‘Indian Express’, ‘DNA’ and “Dainik Bhaskar”. The venue was jam-packed by the budding professionals. Deans, Principals, HODs & Faculty Members of constituent colleges of the University. The program was started by lighting the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati. The formal announcement of the program was made by convener of Alumni Award Ceremony Dr. R.K. Ghai, Dean and Director Faculty of Management and Commerce with welcome address. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Hon’ble Maj. Gen. G. K. Thapliyal, SM (Retd.) welcomed the chief guest by presenting him a sapling. The Vice Chancellor in his address said that Subharti University has always provided a healthy and fair competitive environment to its students so that they can develop in every field whether it is education, sports, medicine, dance and music etc. we have given equal opportunities to all our students So that they can identify their true potential and become ready to face the outside world after completing their education. Dr. Sumit Goel, President Alumni Trust presented the Alumni Annual Report. The annual newsletter of the University Career Counseling Cell “Aarohan” was unveiled. Distinguished Alumni of the university were honored with awards namely Dr. Vivek Gaurav from Dental College, Dr. Naman Kumar Saraswat from the Department of Physical Education, Dr. Somketu Tyagi from Pharmacy College, Dr. Sachin Goyal from Physiotherapy College, Dr. Raksha Singh David from SIFF, Dr. Zuber from Nursing College, Dr. Rajni Emmanuel from Nursing college, Mr. Ramisthadhar Dwivedi from Law College and Miss Divya Chindelia from Law College. The Chief Guest of the function Shree N. Raghuraman delivered his discourse on the Career Management. The audience was overwhelmed by the discourse. Shree N. Raghuraman was greeted by presenting him with a citation. Prof. (Dr.) Padma Misra offered vote of thanks followed by the national anthem.
