Extension Activity on the topic “Value Education”

Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das, Department of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. organised Extension Activity on the topic “Value Education” by M.Ed. IV semester students, in coordination with Dr. Reeba Devi, Assistant Professor, Education Department, in the school of Upper Primary School, Prahlad Nagar Meerut on 01 April 2024.
Dr. (Prof.) Anoj Raj, Head, Department of Education gave their good wishes and spread the message about inculcation of value in the life for the future character progress. Extension Activity was inaugurated by gifting a sapling to Mrs. Seema Praveen, In-charge Chief Teacher High School Prahlad Nagar Meerut.
After that Dr. Reeba gave a short lecture to all the present students discussing the small important things under value education and discussed the importance of values in student life. She emphasised that various activities should be included focusing on essential human values like honesty, integrity, empathy and responsibility. All the school’s students participated enthusiastically and answered the questions too. Under this awareness activity, students of M.Ed. IV semester Tuba Khan, Sweta Singh, Divya Sharma, Sakshi Pal, Nisha Gautam, Pooja Sakshi, Subhi, Nikhil Kumar, Ruby, Neha, Nishu taught all the students about value awareness by playing games and using slogan sticker for understand the importance of values in education and society among school students,
Seema Praveen, in-charge teacher, Parveen, Alia, Sabiya, Roli Sharma, Sanoviya, Nisha, Manisha, Shalini Gupta, Adiba, teacher and students of higher school Prahlad Nagar Meerut, had special contribution in making this activity successful.
