‘Importance of Value Education’

An Extension Activity titled ‘Importance of Value Education’ was successfully organized by Intellectual Reading Club’s members of the Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University on 15th April 2024, at M.D.M. Public School, JaniKhurd, Meerut. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education, extended their good wishes and shared his views, that in today’s fast-paced lifestyle, only Value Education is the basic mantra which will ensure the future.
Prof. (Dr.) Anoj Raj, Head, Department of Education also expressed happiness over the organization of the activity and congratulated the member of Intellectual’s Reading Club Ketaki, Shruti, Gunjan, Alia, Abhishek, Ankit, Kirti Kanak, Saloni, Lakshmi, Avi Sagar, Shivani, Subhana, Dilkhush, Divya for success of this activity and advised them to continue doing such activities in future too
On this occasion, Dr. Rahul Sirohi, Associate Professor, Department of Education also shared his views and said that the students of the school will be able to have a bright future for tomorrow when they themselves can learn to build small habits from the school environment. Under this program, student coordinators of the activity administered an oath to the students of the school that they will pay special attention to maintain value education along with studies. Dr. Reeba Devi, Asst. Professor, Department of Education, Coordinator of extension activity said that value education is as important as theoretical aspects of studies
Mr. Karmveer Sharma, Principal, M.D.M. Public School, Jani-Khurd, Meerut also shared his views and said that his efforts are to make value education the main thing. He also added that Education is to be imparted with emphasis on form, along with emphasis on good things like discipline and doing one’s work on time. Expressing gratitude to the school principal and all the teachers for making the extension activity successful, the extension activity was concluded by Dr. Reeba Devi.. All participants were found happy and satisfactory with the activity.
