Alumni Meet 26th April 2026
The Department of Physical Education at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University successfully organized an Alumni Meet on 26th April 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation. The event aimed to reconnect former students with their alma mater and strengthen the bond between alumni, faculty and current students.
The program was conducted under the kind guidance and blessings of the Dean, Faculty of Education, Dr. Pintu Mishra and the Head of the Department, Dr. Manju Adhikari. Their support and leadership played a key role in making the event successful and meaningful.
All faculty members actively contributed to the organization of the event, including Dr. Parveen Kumar, Dr. Deepak Raghav, Dr. Atul Tiwari, Dr. Nishant Kumar, Dr. Ankit Singh Jadon, Mr. Sharad, Mr. Sanjit, Ms. Dipanshu, and Mr. Mohd. Sartaj. Their combined efforts ensured smooth coordination and a welcoming environment for all participants.
The event began with a warm welcome of the alumni, who gathered from different batches to relive their memories and reconnect with their teachers and classmates. The atmosphere was filled with joy, excitement and nostalgia as alumni shared their experiences and cherished moments from their university life.
During the inaugural address, Dr. Pintu Mishra highlighted the importance of alumni in the growth and development of any institution. He stated that alumni are the ambassadors of the university and their achievements bring pride and recognition to the institution.
In her address, Dr. Manju Adhikari expressed gratitude to all alumni for their presence and continued support. She emphasized that alumni are an integral part of the department and their experiences serve as inspiration for current students. She also shared the department’s progress and future vision.
A key highlight of the program was the alumni interaction session, where former students shared their professional journeys, achievements, and challenges. They provided valuable guidance to current students regarding career opportunities in teaching, coaching, sports management and fitness sectors.
The interaction proved highly beneficial as students gained practical knowledge, career guidance and motivation from the alumni. The event also included informal networking sessions, allowing alumni to reconnect with their peers and faculty members in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Faculty members emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong alumni network and encouraged continuous interaction for academic and professional growth. Alumni appreciated the efforts of the department in organizing such a meaningful event and expressed their willingness to contribute to future activities.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members and alumni for their valuable presence and support.
