Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College organized a three-day Annual Sports Meet titled “LAKSHAY” from 22nd January 2026 to 24th January 2026. The event commenced on Day 1 with a dignified inaugural ceremony. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Manju Adhikari, Associate Professor, Department of Physical Education, as the Special Guest. The program began with a traditional gesture of presenting a sapling to the special guest, symbolizing growth and prosperity. Following this, Dr. Manju Adhikari ma’am addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of sports in maintaining physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline among students. Subsequently, Dr. Geeta Parwanda, Principal, Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the significance of sports in the holistic development of nursing students. Principal ma’am, along with the special guest and esteemed faculty members, then lit the ceremonial lamp and raised the kite, formally announcing the commencement of the Annual Sports Meet “LAKSHAY.”
A variety of indoor and outdoor games were included in the sports meet to encourage active participation and sportsmanship among students.
Indoor games included Carrom, Badminton, Table Tennis, and Chess.
Outdoor games comprised Track and Field events, Tug of War, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, and Cricket. The inaugural day concluded with great enthusiasm and high spirits, setting a vibrant tone for the remaining days of the Annual Sports Meet.
