Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), Faculty of AYUSH, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU), Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, organized a Guest Lecture on “Awareness on Blood Donation” on 20 January 2026 at the Yoga Hall, MASCHNYS. The session, led by Dr. Suhas B, Assistant Professor at MASCHNYS, aimed to educate students on the critical importance, health benefits, and safety protocols, while fostering a culture of social responsibility and humanitarian service in alignment with AYUSH principles of holistic well-being.
He also debunked common myths, such as “donation weakens the body” or “frequent donation causes health issues,” supported by evidence and guidelines, and integrated blood donation with naturopathy and yoga to enhance community health. All the students of the undergraduate (BNYS) and postgraduate (MD Yoga & Naturopathy) batches participated actively. The interactive lecture emphasized the life-saving role of blood donation and encouraged students to adopt it as a social and humanitarian responsibility.
