An awareness program on E-Waste was organized by Subharti Law College on the occasion of International E-Waste day. This program was coordinated by Ms. Afreen Almas, Assistant Professor under the guidance of Dean Faculty of Law, Dr. Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, and motivated by Director SIL and held under the supervision of Dr. Reena Bishnoi. The program was held in association with the V-DRONA Foundation, New Delhi. thereafter Ms. Afreen Almas introduce Dr. Vijay Dutt speaker of the program and director, of Subharti Law College Sh. Rajesh Chandra gave a plant as a symbol of protecting the environment. He told about E-Waste, and how it affects the environment, human beings, and animals.
How we can protect our environment by proper use of dumping e-waste. The activity was also held with the help of students and a quiz related to e-waste was held in which Navya Tyagi, Ambika teotia, Anjuri Sinha,Usabh Jain, Vishal tomar, Om Thakur, and Devraj participated. On the occasion of International E-Waste Day a Pledge taken by students that they will never dump e-kachra without proper disposal and make their friends and relatives acquainted with e-waste and will always protect the environment.
He also appreciated University for using e-waste bins and for taking such initiative for environmental protection in society.
