Subharti Animation Fest (SAF) – 2022 was organized by the Department of Animation of Subharti college of fine arts and fashion design(Swami Vivekananda Subharti University). The program was inaugurated by Dr. G.K Thapliyal (Vice chancellor of Subharti University), Dr. Shayla Raj (Chief Executive Officer), Pro VC Dr. Abhay Shankargowda, and Dr. Pintu Mishra, Principal of NBSCFF & Ms.Vidhi Khandelwal (HOD Animation). The program was coordinated by Ms.Vidhi Khandelwal and Ms. Tamanna. Students from different colleges attended the festival. Dr. G.K Thapliyal congratulated all the students and faculties for coming up with such a heartwarming festival. He said that there is immense opportunity in the field of animation and all the students should strive to achieve their goals. He extended his best wishes and prayer for a successful career in this field. There were various beautiful programs such as Disney Cosplay, Dance, Games, Work presentation, etc all related to the animation field and oriented towards individual skills development. Students were all given the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills by setting up mini stalls. Energetic dance by the first and third-year students Vansh, Tanishka, Namami, Khushi, Gunjan, Shruti Vats, Chaya, Prashant Jayant, and Prachi Gupta took the guest to the surrealistic world. One of the main attractions was Treasure Hunt in which both students and teachers were thrilled to take an active part. Various palate-gratifying dishes were on display and guests and students relished them with joy.
The festival was for two days. Ms. Jigme Zangmo, Ms. Sancha Maya Rai, Mr. Sagar Chauhan, and Ms. Manisha second and fourth-year students of the Animation Dept. of Subharti College of Fine Arts hosted the fest wearing wonderful Disney character attires. On the second day of the festival, students were awarded prizes for their active participation and hard work. Under the supervision of Ms. Vidhi Khandelwal HOD of the animation department, all the students took active participation and the festival was a grand success.
