Employee Welfare Program
On the Occasion of International Women’s Day, 2025 the “Employee Welfare Program” on “Financial Stability & Independence of Women” was organised by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair in Association with Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law & IQAC Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut in Maharani Laxmi Bai Auditorium on 8th March 2025 at 2:00 PM onwards.
On the Occasion of International Women’s Day, 2025 the “Employee Welfare Program” was conducted by master of ceremony Ms. Ankita, Kasak,Srishti Verma and Keshar Ahlawat students of BA.LL.B II Year. The program began with the lamp lighting ceremony. After the lamp lighting ceremony, the guest was welcomed with the sapling of plants. After the formal welcome of the guest; Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, delivered his speech. He said that the financial stability and independence of women is very important for the progress of the whole nation. If women of a country prosper the whole nation will prosper. After that Justice Rajesh Chandra, Director, SPSIL and Convenor, Dr. Ambedkar Chair delivered his speech. He said that under the law women have been given so many legal rights and women must be aware of her legal rights.
After that invited guest, Ms. Preeti Thirania, Senior Manager, Punjab National Bank delivered her speech. She said that women are strong enough. They should know her strength. She said, it is said that “Mahila ka koi ghar nahi hota hai, lekin sachai ye hai ki Mahila ke bina koi ghar nahi hota”. She highlighted the benefits of various women centric banking schemes. She said that women can form various self help groups and through self help groups they can approach the bank for their financial needs. After that invited guest of the program, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, Branch Manager, Punjab National Bank delivered his speech. He said that all women who have bank accounts in any branch of Punjab National Bank must download PNB One Apps. They can access all the information related to her bank account through PNB One Apps. Further, he said that if any woman is facing any financial problem or any problem related to operating their bank account they should approach the Branch Manager directly. After that Ms. Swati Goel, Finance Officer, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University delivered her speech. She said that women should educate themselves and to her family members. Women should be aware about the power of education and awareness. In the last, Prof. (Dr.) Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, Dean Faculty of Law delivered his concluding remark with vote of thanks to all.
