Farewell Party 2023
College Farewell Parties are always an exciting affair & bring alive a lot of happy memories. On 1st June, 2023 in the college auditorium where students of BA.LL.B. IV year and LL.M. I year bid farewell to the outgoing students of final year with great enthusiasm & lots of happy memories. Function started at 12.15 am by welcoming the guests Major General Dr. G.K. Thapliyal, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, Dr. D. P. Semwal, Retd. Income Tax Commissioner, Govt. of India, New Delhi, Justice Rajesh Chandra, (Former Judge, Allahabad High Court, UP) Director Subharti Law College & Faculty members by teeka of roli on their foreheads in traditional Indian way and with a token of love and respect. All the luminaries of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, were welcomed by presenting a sapling under the campaign of environmental protection and felicitation with Memento. The event started by Shikha Upadhyay and Anjuri Karan, of B.A.LL.B. IV Year and was followed by the Saraswati Pooja and Lamp Lightening before Goddess Saraswati by the Dignitaries.
Major General Dr. G. K. Thapliyal, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, addressed the audience with his kind words on the importance of university life and this journey. He blessed the students for their future endeavors. He said that whatever you will do in your life that should be of that type, by which your parents, your College and your University could be proud of you, as it is the last day of your University/College life. A world waits for you with its beauty. While congratulating the students on completion of their studies Dr. Shalya Raj, Hon’ble CEO of University said that You are the one who possesses the power to change the world. And when you would be at the highest rank of your career then you would forget what you have suffered in the past. Always remember that a diamond can only be made out of coal when it survives all the pressure and heat in its life.
Dr. D. P. Semwal gave his wishes to the audience and said that I am very happy that you have successfully completed your study at college. Today is a very emotional day. We all have gathered here to bid farewell to our students leaving this college after completing their graduation from this college. You have been part of this college during your study and you have done it with grace. Wherever you shall go, I am sure that you will make this organization proud. Justice Rajesh Chandra ji, director, Subharti Law College gave his blessing to the students of BA.LL.B. V year and LL.M. II year for their bright future. He said that to achieve success , work hard and be polite. Today, I take immense pride in saying that we are highly proud of your achievements and accomplishments that you have established over these years. Our students enjoy good fame across the city as they are good not only in studies but also in sports. Prof. (Dr)Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, Dean & Principal of Subharti Law College, when addressing the august gathering said that today, as we bid goodbye to the batch of 2018 (BA.LL.B.) & 2021(LL.M.) the journey we have shared since the last 3 years has been no less than a roller coaster rides. With the changes in the teaching mode (online/offline), the intercollege competitions, the international assignments, the word ‘boring,’ nowhere fits in the picture. But your dedication and hard work made this journey an insightful one. I wish each one of you a beautiful life ahead. I believe that if they ever face any tough circumstance in the path ahead where life tries to take them down, they will look back to the learnings they have gathered from their time spent here. I wish that wherever you go, the Subharti Law College will always remain with you in your memories. I also hope that one day when you look back, you feel proud of the lessons, experiences and the people you found here.
Always keep up the dedication and sincerity. Always strive to be the best in whatever you do. Be humble and let your actions speak for you. May you be blessed with success and glory, with these words Prof (Dr) Reena Bishnoi, Officiating Principal, Subharti Law College gave a formal vote to all. Students were energetic & enthusiastic emcees of the show. Programme proceeded with songs, dance performances and to make the programme more entertaining & engaging game sessions specially designed for seniors. The seniors were given the opportunity to share their experience. The highlight of the event was a Video presentation put up by the juniors for seniors which threw fun & added life to the party as it included past memories of senior students. A beautiful day marked with both happiness & sorrow & lots of love and was followed by lunch.
Zareena Khatoon, Vidhi, Km. Shagun, and Shagun Sharma, all the students of BA.LL.B. actively participated in various cultural activities. During the program Dr. Sarika Tyagi, Prof. (Dr)Sartaj Ahamad, Dr. Rafat Khanam, Dr. Seema Sharma, Dr. Prem Chandra, Afreen Almas, Vikas Tyagi, Ana Sisodia, Ajayraj Singh and Mayank Sharma were present.
Non-teaching staff of Subharti Law College made all their best efforts for the success of this event. For this graceful event Zareena, Himanshu Panwar, Anil Kishore, Md. Tanzeel, Shukha Upadhyaay, Anjuri Karan, Alka Yadav, Vaibhav Kothari, Harsh Yadav were the organizers, without their special efforts this program could not take its shape.
