A Discussion On Mental health
Shaheed Bhagat Singh Subharti Urban Health and Training Centre (UHTC) Multan Nagar under the department of Community Medicine, Subharti Medical College organised a health talk and Oral cavity check up camp on the occasion of ” No Tobacco Day-2023.
Head of department of Community Medicine Prof.(Dr) Bhawana Pant informed about the dangerous effects of tobacco on health , carcinogenic effects and tobacco de-addiction . She addressed youths and adolescents.
Prof.(Dr.) Sartaj Ahmad suggested the theme of the day and the social impact of tobacco products on society.
Interns of Community Medicine Dr Manish Dhaka , Dr Ipshita Singh Dr Harshita Narwal, interns of BDS and BNYS, were present at the occasion.
25 people attended the health talk and 30 patients were checked up for Oral cavity.
Health camp was successfully carried out
by Dr Babita, Mr. Virendra, Mrs Kusum, Mr Pardeep Kumar and Ms Anju.
