KVSCOS Farewell party – 2K23
Keral Verma Subharti College of Science, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut organized a farewell party to bid a cheerful adieu to the final year students on 09.06.2023 in Sardar Patel Auditorium of Subharti Law College.
Under the tradition of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, the program started round 10:00 AM by welcoming the seniors with a small gift. The program was started with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony and worship of Goddess Saraswati by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Major General Prof. (Dr.) G.K. Thapliyal and Hon’ble CEO madam Prof. Shalya Raj, Dean Ma’am Prof. Renu Mavi and other dignitaries.
After that, planters were presented to all the dignitaries. Hon’ble VC sir conveyed his best wishes to all the final year students for their upcoming future. Hon’ble CEO Madam, Prof. Shalya Raj also sent a message to extend her blessings to the students and organizing team.
Soon after the blessings part, our anchors Prashant, Riya, Kanika, Aryan and Shruti took over the stage and kept the crowd entertained till the very end in their funny way of attracting the audience towards them and adding cherry to the pie.
The dress code for the party was Pink and Black.
The contest for Mr. and Ms. Fresher concluded in three rounds i.e. Ramp walk, talent round and questionnaire round. The jury members were Dr. Amit Kumar, Dr. Devendra Kumar and Dr. Preeti Singh. Junior students also arranged many activities in between for their seniors where everyone got chance to showcase their talent. Along with this, the final year students narrate the experience of their college time to the junior students and some students also get emotional remembering their past days. This program assumes significance as it allows final year students to narrate their experiences as well as guide their junior students.
Refreshment was offered in between the program. The entire family of Science College relished the exotic lunch followed by felicitation of the winning students. Trophies and gifts were given by Prof. Renu Mavi madam (Dean, College of Science), jury members and cultural committee members to all the winners and runner-ups of the event.
In the program, Khushboo from Zoology department and Divyanshu Dhiman from chemistry department were crowned as Ms. and Mr. Farewell respectively. Akshita and Tushar yadav got the title of Ms. And Mr. intelligent. The most elegant personality tag goes to Megha and Kartikey, Aiman and Navneet became the spark of the party while Himanika got the title of Ms. Confident.
The program was conducted with the support of Prof. Renu Mavi (Dean, College of Science) and coordinated by Dr. Anju Rani and her cultural team (Dr. Ekta Gupta, Dr. Shashi Bala, Dr. Neeru, Dr. Nisha Malik, Mr. Vikas Belwal, Dr. Amod and Dr. Nityanand).
All the academic and non-academic staff of the college along with the members of the discipline committee also contributed in making the program success.
The event ended at round 4:00 PM with the dance on DJ music where all the students dance to the beats removing all the stress and enjoying pure bliss moment. The party was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness.
