Fun Games on National Sports Day
Sardar Patel Subharti Law Institute, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut Under the direction of Director of the Subharti Law College Mr. Rajesh Chandra (Former Justice, Prayagraj, High Court, Uttar Pradesh) and under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, Dean, Subharti law college organized “Fun Games on National Sports Day” National Sports Day is a celebration of sports and physical activities that promote health, teamwork, and enjoyment. This year’s event featured a variety of fun and engaging games that fostered camaraderie and physical fitness among participants. The three main games highlighted in this report are the Three-Legged Race, Thread and Needle, and Lemon Spoon Race. Each game brought its own unique flavor of excitement and challenge to the event1-Three Leg Race In this game, pairs of participants had their adjacent legs bound together with a cloth or band. They had to work together to move forward and reach the finish line in the shortest time possible. The game tested their coordination, communication, and teamwork skills. The Three-Legged Race was a crowd favorite, with many teams showcasing impressive coordination and strategy. Some teams struggled initially but quickly adapted, making for an entertaining and engaging competition. 2. Thread and Needle In this game, pairs of participants were on two sides of the area. One will run from the starting line with a needle and reach another partner and he will fix the thread in the needle and then the first partner will come back to the finishing line. 3. Lemon Spoon Race.To carry a lemon on a spoon from the start to the finish line without dropping it. Participants balanced a lemon on a spoon and raced to the finish line. If the lemon fell off, they had to return to the starting point and try again. This game emphasized balance, concentration, and speed. The fun games on National Sports Day were a resounding success. Each game, from the Three-Legged Race to the Lemon Spoon Race, brought joy, laughter, and a sense of community to all involved. These activities not only encouraged physical activity but also promoted teamwork and problem-solving skills in a light-hearted environment. At the end of the program a vote of thanks was given by Dr. Sarika Tyagi Sports Coordinator Subharti Law College and small prizes were given to the position holders.
