A Guest Lecture on ‘Generative AI for Innovation and Start-ups’ was conducted by the Computer Science Engineering Department of Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SVSU on 30.04.2025.
Dr. Sunil Kumar, Associate Professor , School of IT, AURO university, Surat and an Alumni of FET was the keynote speaker.
Dr. Kumar discussed various AI applications which are working on the concept of creation of new content such as text, images, music, audio, and videos, by learning from existing data and using that knowledge to generate novel outputs.
He told the students about various applications such as Sarvam.ai (for various languages), Chat GPT, Gamma.ai (for PPT), suno.ai (Song maker), chat pdf etc.
The activity was organized by Dr. Archita Bhatnagar, Associate Professor, Computer Science Engineering.
The Vice Principal, SITE, Prof.(Dr.) Shravan Kumar Garg, Dr. Sanjive Tyagi, Dr. Tarun Kumar & Dr. Ashima attended the lecture alongwith 130 Students.
