Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Importance of Health Insurance’ on 17.09.2021 from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the Moot Court Hall. The guest lecture was delivered by Mr. Vishal Maheshwari, Asst. Manager, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance. The Guest Speaker was welcomed with a good duck plant by Dr. Sarika Tyagi, Associate Professor. The Guest Speaker elaborately discusses the topic. On this occasion Prof. (Dr.) Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya also addressed the gathering and aware them regarding the utility and importance of Health Insurance and also paid a vote of thanks to the guest speaker. Dr. Shokender Singh, Dean, Subharti Pharmacy College facilitated Mr. Vishal Maheshwari with a memento. In the guest lecture, the following points were discussed –
1. What is Insurance?
2. What is a requirement of Insurance?
3. What is General Insurance and Life Insurance?
4. Different categories of General Insurance- a. Health b. Vehicle c. others 5. Social & family Security & Health Insurance for primary health care services, secondary health care services, tertiary health care services.
As per the feedback received from the participants, it was a very good learning experience, the Lecture helped them in the understanding of the topic related to Subjects Public Health Laws and Insurance Laws and also in day-to-day life. It was a very informative and interactive session. This session was anchored by Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi Associate Professor.
