Report on In-Service Education Program on Breast Cancer
Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College organized an In-Service Education Program on Breast Cancer at 10:00 a.m., with this year’s theme — “Every Story is Unique, Every Journey Matters.”
The session commenced with the lighting of the lamp and invocation of guests, marking the beginning of an enlightening and meaningful event. This was followed by a welcome address delivered by Dr. Geeta Parwanda, Principal, PDMSNC.
The resource persons for the day were Dr. Faraz Bajaj, MD, Department of Medicine (Oncology), Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital, and Mrs. Sanju Solanki, Nursing Superintendent.
The program featured insightful sessions by Mrs. Sanju Solanki, Ms. Priyanka Yadav (M.Sc. Nursing 2nd Year student), and Dr. Faraz Bajaj, who shared valuable knowledge on breast cancer awareness, prevention, early detection, and management.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the speakers, participants, and organizers for their efforts and contributions toward the success of the program. Around 40 staff nurses and postgraduate students actively participated in the session, making it a highly engaging and informative experience.
