“INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY”
On the Occasion of “INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2023” Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, SVSU,Meerut organized a seminar with the theme “Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World”for the BNYS & MD students on 12th August 2023from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM at LT-5, MASCHNYS (SVSU).55 (BNYS & MD)students were attended in this seminar.
The resource personDr. Jyoti Madhur, Lecturer (MASCHNYS)explained how it was started by United Nations, explained about the importance of celebrating youth day to enhance green skills in youth and also the uses of these skills for sustainable development. The green skills are “knowledge, abilities, values, and attitudes needed to live in, develop and support a sustainable and resource-efficient society”.
The objectives of International Youth Day in 2023 are:
- To raise awareness of green skills and their relevance for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while highlighting the central role of young people in the green transition;

To equip stakeholders with the knowledge and information necessary to understand the importance of green skills for young people;
- To showcase policies and practices that can nurture the development of green skills among young people; and
- To provide an inclusive platform for stakeholders to exchange views on such topics.
